Brands that never left

A few months ago, I thought I was beginning to escape brands. For the better.

But I’m beginning to realise I’m not escaping them, I’m actually getting drawn in.

But there are fewer, they are more considered, and they are congruent with me.

It’s not that brands are bad, I just don’t like being told what to do.

When I come across a brand that is in alignment with my values, it’s an instant connection.

The trust is instant.

When I thought I was escaping brands, I realised I was getting closer to them, reliant even.

Santa Cruz, Red Wing, Levis, Vans, Stance and Patagonia were always there, helping me do what I want to do.

Not realising they were there but being lost if they weren’t.

I don’t go looking for them, it’s almost as if the brands cross paths with me for a reason.

It’s a subconscious search for certain values and characteristics; craftsmanship, resourcefulness, uniqueness, creativity, innovation.

Things that work as they should and add value to my life.

That’s all we aim to do with the products that come from Driift.

We’re not here to impose our brand (but if you share our values, great), we’re here to show you the solutions to problems we know exist.

Well done is better than well said, and that’s exactly what the brands in my life do.

They don’t tell me how they help me, they show me.

We hope Driift can be the same for you.

Unaware when we’re there. Lost if we’re not.
