Sometimes, there’s nothing more frustrating than a busy skate park. Absolute carnage as everyone is dropping in and snaking on each other. I mean, it’s great getting to know the people also waiting their turn, but we just wanna skate.
I know we gotta share, but sometimes you just want a ramp to yourself.
Oli, who you may of heard a bit about (especially if you’ve been watching our fight tutorials on our YouTube channel, DRIIFT TV), runs our local fight gym, and is down for pretty much anything.
He’s got some space in his fight gym, it’s not much, but we’ll make it work.
It’s a small step to our plan or having all of our favourite things in one place.
It’s the start of bringing people together, from different disciplines, backgrounds, and abilities.
Bringing some fighters down a peg or two by getting them on a skateboard, and maybe getting some skaters on the pads.
This will transform the fight space and add a totally fresh dynamic and create something truly unique, getting some fighters into skating, and help skaters who wanna fight.
We will be squeezing a 12ft wide x 3ft high ramp into a tiny space.
That’s what will make it a unique place, a mini ramp room, custom built to fill the space.
It’s time to create a community of adventurers, which is what Driift is all about.
