Our Old Skool Pool Skateboard Deck

At any given opportunity, we’re skating.

Whether its cruising the streets, tearing up the skate park, or now the weathers turning, heading to our private, indoor mini ramp, The Skate Piit.

Each day is different, and each day is another opportunity to push harder.

We’ve gone through loads of boards; each bringing something new to the table.

We’ve had some wicked boards, always trying different shapes, sizes, combinations of hardware, all to make our complete bespoke to us and what we wanted to use it for.

They’ve come close, but no cigar in a lot of cases.

It’s time to create something that looks beautiful but is very skateable.

A lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets.

Inspired by the old skool pool decks that we used to ride (averagely), we knew that making a super wide 9.8” old skool pool deck would be the way to go.

We want to use proper processes and proper materials.

So, as always, we got thinking what our dream board would be, something that was different enough to warrant designing and making a few.

This is what we came up with…
